Evening Entertainment
The region offers a wealth of evening entertainment for groups - from a performance at the theatre, to a medieval banquet and scary ghost walks.
Attraction Evening Visits
If you can't find time to visit in the day, then why not go in the evening? Many of the attractions featured on this web site have a special symbol, which indicates they are willing to open for special 'evening visits' for groups, by prior arrangement.
Banqueting
Hatfield House www.hatfield-house.co.uk
in Hertfordshire offers sumptuous four course dinner and entertainment in the 15th C. Old Palace. Here you are transported back to the Elizabethan period, presided over by Queen Elizabeth I. The banquets are held on most Friday evenings
throughout the year.
Canal and River Cruises
On a hot Summer evening, what could be nicer than treating your group to a leisurely cruise along the peaceful canals and rivers of the region. Some of the following operators also offer dinner and live music.

Guided Tours
The region's cities and towns take on a completely different atmosphere after dark. Why not take a guided tour to view the illuminated sights and historic buildings. Or alternatively send a shiver down your group's spine by joining a ghost tour.

Theatre
Take your group for an evening at one of the region's excellent theatres, offering a wide and varied programme of events - drama, music, ballet, opera, poetry, dance and comedy. At Christmas time, join in the fun with a traditional pantomime. Theatres can be found in most of the East of England's major cities and towns.
During the Summer, our seaside resorts come alive with entertainment and theatre shows. Great Yarmouth and Cromer (both in Norfolk), are noted for their pier theatres. The latter is home to probably the last authentic end-of-the-pier 'Seaside Special' in England. In Great Yarmouth, don't miss the indoor Hippodrome
Circus - one of only two remaining in the country, noted for its world-class acts and spectacular water finale.
Themed Presentations and Talks
If you are planning a tour based around a particular theme (eg gardens, antiques), then why not organise an evening presentation or talk on the subject by a local expert. By doing this on the first night of your itinerary, you can provide your clients with a useful and informative introduction to the rest of the tour.
